HD Bullet Camera

HD Analog camera refers to its video transmission type. Unlike IP (digital) cameras, HD analog cameras transmit high-definition video over coaxial cables (the same type used in traditional analog CCTV systems).

Key Features:

  • High Definition Video: Typically ranges from 720p (1MP) to 4MP, 5MP, or even 8MP (4K).

  • Coaxial Cable Transmission: Uses BNC connectors; compatible with older CCTV setups.

  • Technology Standards: May use HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD, or HDCVI standards—all support HD over coax.

  • IR Night Vision: Most bullet cams come with infrared LEDs for night-time visibility (up to 20m–100m depending on model).

  • Weatherproof Housing: Usually rated IP66 or IP67, making them suitable for outdoor use.

  • Fixed or Varifocal Lens: Fixed lens offers a set field of view; varifocal allows zoom adjustment.

  • Ease of Installation: Often plug-and-play with DVRs (Digital Video Recorders).
